Greg Kerwick, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Beacon Hill Growth Advisors Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements and leadership in the commercial payments industry.
Mr. Kerwick’s distinguished career spans more than three decades of executive leadership at the intersection of banking, payments, and innovation, and reflects his lasting impact on the global payments and financial-services landscape. As founder and chief executive officer of Beacon Hill Growth Advisors, Inc., he partners with banks, fintechs, and private-equity companies to accelerate revenue growth, optimize working-capital solutions, and commercialize new payment technologies. Established in 2024, Beacon Hill Growth Advisors reflects Mr. Kerwick’s passion for helping organizations achieve scalable growth through modern product development and go-to-market design, data-driven client engagement, and digital transformation.
Prior to founding Beacon Hill, Mr. Kerwick spent more than 20 years as managing director at JPMorgan in their Payments Division, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s commercial-payments strategy and scaling its market leadership. He built and led high-performing teams across sales, solutioning, product commercialization, advisory, data analytics, and product marketing—helping JPMorgan achieve #1 share in U.S. commercial payments. His strategic leadership united product, marketing, and client-advisory disciplines under a single vision for growth that continues to influence the industry today.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Kerwick held senior leadership roles in both emerging fintech and traditional card businesses, including head of sales at beenz.com, an early digital-currency start-up during the dot-com era; head of sales and marketing at World Access Service Corporation, where he drove profitability and P&L growth across financial-services and healthcare clients; and head of Northeast co-branding sales at Mastercard, where he pioneered the use of co-branded consumer credit cards as a marketing and revenue-generation platform for major corporations. He began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank, now known as JPMorgan Chase, where he served as vice president and helped launch the industry’s first Gold Card and the first consumer balance-consolidation program – a landmark innovation that reshaped credit-card marketing and remains a foundational industry practice more than 30 years later.
Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Kerwick has led payments innovation and operational excellence, earning recognition as an industry voice for best practices and sustainable growth. He credits his success to a set of guiding principles he honed over decades—principles he actively shares through ongoing mentorship, helping colleagues and emerging leaders elevate their impact.
A graduate of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in finance with a minor in computer science and New York University’s Stern School of Business with a Master of Business Administration in marketing, Mr. Kerwick has complemented his professional leadership with deep industry and civic engagement. He serves as a member of the U.S. Faster Payments Council, founding advisor to LIGO, an app to combat loneliness by bringing people together through shared music interests, and board member of FlourishU.ai, an AI-driven platform focused on improving nutritional outcomes for college students.
Committed to service and mentorship, Mr. Kerwick has been actively involved in the Georgetown Gridiron Club for decades, served on Georgetown’s Hoyas Unlimited Board, and previously served as treasurer and board member of Bethany House of Nassau County, supporting homeless women and children for nearly two decades. A Long Island native, Mr. Kerwick values time with his wife, Caryn, and their four sons, enjoying travel, family, and time on the golf course.
