In this capacity, he has been instrumental in designing and developing meters, test equipment and a variety of products essential to fiber-optic deployment. His leadership has enabled the company to supply new equipment to major telecommunications providers, with sales in every state except Alaska and Hawaii. Mr. Ascolese considers his most notable achievement to be establishing his company after many years in the industry and ensuring the collective success of his team and their families.
In addition to his role at QBL Innovations, LLC, Mr. Ascolese has served as a managing partner at Parlay Innovations in the Greater New York City area since 2018. His responsibilities have included overseeing business operations and fostering innovation within the organization, which serves as a manufacturer’s rep firm in the telecommunications and MSO industries.
From 2013 to 2018, Mr. Ascolese was a partner at V8 Communications LLC in Montvale, New Jersey. During this period, he contributed to the company’s growth and strategic direction, helping solidify his reputation as a leader in telecommunications solutions.
Mr. Ascolese’s earlier tenure was at Verizon, spanning 20 years, beginning in 1989 as a facilities technician, a role he held until 2005. He then advanced to local area manager from 2005 to 2008, where he managed teams and coordinated service delivery across multiple regions. Between 2008 and 2010, Mr. Ascolese served as a senior staff consultant at Verizon, providing expert guidance on technical projects and operational improvements.
A graduate of Dumont High School in Dumont, New Jersey, Mr. Ascolese’s education provided a strong basis for his technical acumen and professional achievements. He has since become active civically, most notably as a contributor to Sippy Poo, demonstrating his commitment to other causes. Notably, the annual fundraising event supports the Fisher House Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides housing for veterans and military families in need.
Mr. Ascolese’s enduring dedication to excellence and innovation continues to shape the landscape of fiber optic technology and telecommunications infrastructure across the United States. Throughout his career, he has credited his wife for her unwavering support, acknowledging her influence as integral to his ongoing success. Looking ahead, Mr. Ascolese intends to continue developing equipment in response to major requests for proposals in the telecommunications sector. He is also considering either acquiring a larger company or selling his existing businesses.
