As the owner of Fielding Construction in western Maryland since 2012, he has built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and integrity throughout Allegany County.

For more than a decade, Mr. Fielding has overseen a wide range of residential projects as the owner of Fielding Construction, earning recognition for his attention to detail and commitment to client satisfaction. In addition to remodels, restorations, and kitchen and bathroom design, his company offers expertise in additions, creative porches, carports and repairs. He takes on every project with respect, tailoring it to each client’s needs, ideas and budget.

Leveraging his former experience, Mr. Fielding advanced his skills at Gene Pfister Construction in Allegany County, where he worked as an apprentice carpenter, painter, electrician, and plumber between 2008 and 2012. Mr. Fielding’s professional journey began at Bethany Surf Shop in Bethany Beach, Delaware, where he worked from 1996 to 2005 as a grom and second-grade silk-screen printing apprentice. Under the guidance of shop owner Jimmy McGrath, he learned the importance of discipline, work ethic and respect, qualities that have remained central throughout his career.

Mr. Fielding’s academic background included earning a Bachelor of Applied Science from Frostburg State University in 2006. The knowledge gained during his studies has supported his ability to manage complex projects and lead teams effectively. In addition to his formal education, Mr. Fielding holds several significant credentials. He is licensed by the Maryland Home Improvement Commission as both a contractor and home improvement professional and is also certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

These activities underscore his dedication to giving back to the community that has supported his business endeavors and preserving local heritage.

Mr. Fielding’s excellence has been recognized by Allegany Magazine, which named him Best Contractor and Construction Company in Allegany County for three consecutive years from 2023 to 2025. He attributes much of his success to the guidance of exceptional mentors and to his faith.
