The fleet of trucks at KraneWorks Inc. comprises all-terrain boom cranes and boom trucks, as well as national crane, Grove, and Terex equipment, with capacities ranging from 23 to 120 tons and boom lengths reaching nearly 200 feet, all designed to meet the needs of clients. The company also offers machinery moving, storage and transportation services throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York, capable of moving rooftop air conditioners, chillers, heat pumps, heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment of all sizes, and other types of equipment and machinery.
Before launching KraneWorks Inc. with his wife, Mr. Hollon served as a crane operator at Crane Rental Company from 2013 to 2018. This role provided him with hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation and laid the groundwork for his subsequent leadership responsibilities. The technical knowledge gained during these years proved invaluable as Mr. Hollon transitioned into entrepreneurship and executive management.
Mr. Hollon’s educational background included studies in business administration with a focus on personnel management. The knowledge acquired through this academic pursuit has played a significant role in shaping his approach to leadership and organizational development. Mr. Hollon’s understanding of personnel management has allowed him to build effective teams and implement strategies that drive company growth.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hollon has been recognized for both professional excellence and civic engagement. He received the Diamond Safety Award from Associated Builders and Contractors, reflecting his commitment to workplace safety and industry standards. The foundation for Mr. Hollon’s career was established early in life. At age 13, he began operating heavy equipment alongside his best friend, whose family owned a land-clearing company. Growing up on a 10-acre property in Englewood, he learned practical skills while maintaining horses, pigs, chickens, dogs and cats. Despite having parents in white-collar professions, Mr. Hollon was raised in a blue-collar environment that instilled a strong work ethic and adaptability.
Mr. Hollon’s journey reflects an unwavering dedication to improvement, responsibility and support for others, a testament to the values that have defined both his personal life and distinguished career in management.
