At the helm of Top Tier K9 Franchising, Mr. Minder oversees overall technology support while supporting the franchise system and has been instrumental in integrating advanced technologies, such as virtual reality and AI, into the educational model for dog training and business management. Notably, he owns the intellectual property related to the curriculum, documentaries, and all documentation pertaining to the company and his work with Top Tier K9. Mr. Minder’s efforts have culminated in the development of a virtual reality system that allows individuals to practice training dogs in the metaverse, with a full AI interface for the school set to launch soon.

Based in Tallahassee, he provides his expertise to clients across a broad spectrum of industries, advising on topics like strategic planning, program and project management, business analysis, training and leadership.
Leveraging his expertise, Mr. Minder spent 2009 to 2013 as a project management instructor at The Versatile Company, a company based in Seattle, Washington, that provides consulting and training services to clients to improve project management. His earlier roles included serving as a managing member at Victory Vets LLC from 2005 to 2011, as an instructor at ESI International between 2009 and 2011, as a managing member at ImarcsGroup from 1999 to 2005, and as a senior vice president at Image API for more than five years, starting in 1993.
Mr. Minder’s professional journey began with distinguished military service as a survival, evasion, resistance and escape instructor in the U.S. Air Force from 1982 to 1993. His military background provided him with invaluable skills in instruction and human learning, skills that have underpinned his subsequent achievements in both education and technology integration.
While serving in the military, Mr. Minder acquired a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and computer science, magna cum laude, from Troy University in 1992. He also holds a certificate in instruction system design from Air University Academic Instructor School and certification as a project management professional and project manager by the Project Management Institute.
Besides creating the world’s first AI brain for dog trainers, Mr. Minder has been credited with developing the trademarked Foundation Dog program, which was awarded incontestable status in 2025. Moreover, his creative projects included founding “A Human Approach” at www.VRDogTraining.com.
Throughout his career, Mr. Minder has been recognized for his expertise in integrating technology with human learning, a field in which he is considered an expert. His accomplishments have garnered significant recognition. His entrepreneurial achievements have been acknowledged by Dell and the National Federation of Independent Business, both naming him among the top 10 entrepreneurs in North America. Mr. Minder was also featured on Oliver North’s Real American Heroes and has appeared on over a dozen news shows as well as several television series. Furthermore, in 2024, he was honored with the title of World’s Greatest Dog Training Company.
For his contributions to his country, Mr. Minder received nominations for the Air Commando Hall of Fame by the U.S. Air Force in 2011 and was twice named Top Survival Instructor by both the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Special Operations Command. He attributes much of his success to his military training, which taught him how to read people effectively and ensure meaningful learning outcomes for his students.
