Michael John Mancini, Vice President at Deutsche Bank AG, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Finance.

With a career spanning 15 years in the finance industry, Mr. Mancini has distinguished himself as an expert in collateralized loan obligation reporting. His current role as the vice president at Deutsche Bank AG began in 2024. In this capacity, he corresponds with clients daily and serves as the primary contact for several key relationships maintained by the bank in New York. As one of the most senior staff members on his team, Mr. Mancini manages collateralized loan obligation (CLO) reporting and provides essential support to colleagues by assisting them with questions and guidance. He is especially proud of his tenure at Deutsche Bank AG, where he achieved significant results in less than two years by managing a demanding workload while supporting team members and answering their inquiries.

Before joining Deutsche Bank AG, Mr. Mancini served as a senior associate in CLO operations at Sound Point Capital Management LP, an alternative asset management firm headquartered in New York City, from 2022 to 2024. There, he further honed his expertise in CLO reporting and operations, contributing to the organization’s growth and success within the sector. Earlier, Mr. Mancini spent nearly a decade as a team manager at CIFC LLC, an investment management firm based in Miami, Florida, starting in 2013. His responsibilities included overseeing teams and ensuring accurate financial processes within the firm’s operations. Before advancing to this managerial position, Mr. Mancini worked as a senior accountant and manager at CIFC LLC from 2011 to 2013. These roles provided him with valuable experience in accounting and team leadership.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Mancini excelled as the assistant vice president at BNP Paribas from 2009 to 2011. He also held positions in product control for agency and non-agency mortgages at Royal Bank of Canada between 2007 and 2008, following his role in product control for fixed income finance at The Bear Stearns Companies Inc. from 2005 to 2007. Each of these roles contributed to Mr. Mancini’s comprehensive understanding of financial products and operations.

Mr. Mancini’s journey into finance was driven by a natural affinity for numbers and a genuine enjoyment of the field. Although he initially entered the profession out of passion rather than a defined goal, he soon realized that something was missing until he discovered an opportunity in CLO reporting while working at CISC early in his career. Recognizing the potential of this niche area proved pivotal. After making the transition into CLO reporting, Mr. Mancini found both professional fulfillment and long-term career satisfaction.

Mr. Mancini’s academic background laid a strong foundation for his achievements. He completed a Bachelor of Science in accounting from St. John’s University in Queens, New York, in 1995 and a Master of Science in accounting from The Peter J. Tobin College of Business at St. John’s University in Queens, New York, in 2000. The rigorous training and knowledge gained during his studies have been instrumental throughout his professional journey.

Throughout his career, Mr. Mancini has demonstrated exceptional dedication to mastering complex financial instruments and processes related to CLOs. He attributes much of his success to a strong work ethic as well as the unwavering support of family and colleagues. Looking ahead, Mr. Mancini remains motivated to advance within Deutsche Bank AG while continuing to enhance the organization’s reputation with clients and improve workflow efficiency. He values collaboration with colleagues and consistently shares insights when called upon, reflecting a commitment to both personal development and organizational excellence.
