Since 2001, he has served as the owner and director of Latin Gate Customs Brokers Inc., a company specializing in managing customs interactions and import compliance for clients importing goods into the United States. Under Mr. Sierra’s guidance, the firm also supports foreign clients shipping goods into the country on a delivered duty paid basis, providing comprehensive documentation services and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements. Mr. Sierra’s work encompassed diverse markets, including Asia, the United States, South America, the Caribbean and Central America.
In addition to these primary milestones, Mr. Sierra founded an underground utility contracting firm in 2009. Mr. Sierra also held various roles with multiple shipping lines between 1986 and 2012, solidifying his reputation as an expert in business operations within complex international environments.
Mr. Sierra’s educational background has been instrumental to his success. He completed a bachelor’s degree at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, in 1992. He also participated in an adult day training program supporting individuals with disabilities.
A commitment to following a clear vision has been central to Mr. Sierra’s achievements. He credits his success to maintaining focus on independence while embracing the challenges inherent in building a business from the ground up. Drawing on extensive experience in customs brokerage, Mr. Sierra envisions expanding further into utility contracting, leveraging both sectors’ synergies for future growth.
