Mr. Lister previously garnered experience as a health and wealth consultant. His career with USANA Health Sciences Inc. ran from 1997 to 2003, where he received an Inspiration Award, achieved the title of Emerald, and joined the Million Dollar Club.
Mr. Lister has lived a varied and eventful life, both professionally and personally. In the 1970s, he competed in national and international snowmobile competitions for four years, earning prize money and trophies for his victories. At one point in his youth, he became a skydiver and lived in an airport hangar, averaging one skydive a day for nearly three years and accumulating nearly 1,000 jumps. His main parachute failed on four different occasions, necessitating the use of his reserve parachute.
In the 1980s, Mr. Lister led the establishment of a school of pioneer missions for Youth With a Mission. During this time, he recruited staff and students from eight countries, training them in survival skills and Bible smuggling while leading them on remote mission trips to locations like Inner Mongolia, Tibet and China.
Mr. Lister is a member of the Evergreen Area Chamber of Commerce and is a volunteer District Captain for the Convention of States, a conservative political movement. He also volunteers at Brendon House, a nursing home, and enjoys traveling internationally with his wife and son in his spare time.
