Mr. Trickey began his career in the U.S. Army Reserve in 2002, advancing to active duty in 2007. After deciding to provide a more stable life for his family, he retired from the military in 2015 and was recruited by Winsupply Inc. into their leadership program for junior military officers. He first served the company as a manager-in-training between 2015 and 2017 and subsequently became the owner of the Cincinnati branch in 2017, at which he continues to thrive.
After his high school graduation, Mr. Trickey enrolled at Northern Michigan University briefly before deciding that a lack of maturity kept him from achieving his goals, so he joined the military. While serving in the U.S. Army Reserve, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and management from Western Michigan University in 2007. He graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2012 with a Master of Business Administration.
Mr. Trickey has been recognized for numerous accomplishments, including the Bronze Star and the Deployment Excellence Award in 2009 by the U.S. Army. He was recognized on the Dean’s List and served as president of the MBA Association Student Body. When Winsupply Inc. began recruiting officers, the company was failing. However, after a year and a half, the company became profitable and has grown an average of 60 percent annually.
In the coming years, Mr. Trickey aspires to earn a business doctorate to specialize in supply chain or finance. Additionally, he aims to establish a second location for his business to expand his operations and strive toward reaching a sales target of twenty million dollars annually. When he is not working, he dedicates his time and attention to traveling, soccer, home improvement projects, and golf.
