Kraig A. Blancher, owner and principal at CGB Insurance, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in construction insurance and garage liability.
With nearly 40 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Blancher has excelled as owner and principal at CGB Insurance since 2004. He began his career with the United Parcel Service in 1987. In 1995, he was recruited as senior marketing representative at Federal Mutual Insurance Company, where he remained until 2005.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Blancher pursued an education at Saint Petersburg College where he earned an associate of arts in business and an associate of science in micro computers in 1991. He continued his academic efforts at the University of South Florida, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing and management information systems in 1995.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Blancher has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He served as a tank mechanic in the United States Army from 1984 to 1986 and as a reservist from 1986 to 1990. He volunteers at food banks and participates in the construction efforts of Habitat for Humanity.
In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Blancher remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association and the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association. In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Blancher has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with multiple business awards and recognized as the Outstanding Graduate from the Alumni Associations of the University of South Florida and St. Petersburg College.
Mr. Blancher attributes his success to his drive to acquire customers and go above and beyond what is required or expected. In addition, Mr. Blancher surrounds himself with good and loyal clients and employees. He is patient and takes thoughtful care of his employees. His proudest accomplishment was graduating from the University of South Florida with a triple major. In the immediate future, he plans to expand his company and hopes to help more people. In addition, he aspires to have an office in every county in Florida and leave a legacy for his sons.
