With over 30 years of experience to his credit, Mr. DuKate has excelled as president at Smartcrawl since 2016. He began his career as project manager at DuKate Fine Remodeling & Masonry Services from 1990 to 2017. He served as an electrical apprentice at Electrical Enterprise from 2004 to 2005.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. DuKate pursued an education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Ivy Tech Community College and earned an associate degree in engineering in 2008. He continued his academic efforts at Liberty University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business and finance in 2016. He holds certifications as and a residential radon measurement provider from the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists/National Radon Proficiency Program, a residential radon mitigation provider, and a certified chimney sweep.
In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. DuKate remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the Basement Health Association, the Franklin Township Chamber of Commerce, the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, and the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce. He volunteered with the Steering Committee and One Brick and was a board member of Paint the Town.
Mr. DuKate attributes his success to his hard work and having many great people to mentor and guide him. He also cites his consistency and persistence, along with his strong foundation in the industry which has helped him to succeed. His family has greatly supported him since he started in the industry. His most notable achievement is starting his business from scratch and developing it to the point that it has endured for a significant amount of time. The highlight of his career is distinguished by his passion for giving back to the community and his love of meeting new people every day.
Looking toward the future, Mr. DuKate hopes to continue developing his business and earn $20 million in the coming years. Furthermore, he wants to continue to serve his clients well. He is driven by a clear sense of purpose, but he also values the journey and cherishes the opportunity to connect with people along the way.
