As premier repossession agents, the company’s areas of focus also reside in key manufacturing, dealer services and remarketing. In addition to her primary endeavors at Rockwood Recovery, Ms. Liagre is also the co-owner of both Rockwood Lock and Key – a key maker for automobiles – and the Rockwood Automotive Group, which specializes in dealer services and vehicle maintenance. Well-regarded for her accomplishments in the repossession industry, Ms. Liagre was bestowed with an award at an event hosted by Used Car Week, an industry conference held in Arizona at which she had the opportunity to speak before the Women in Collections and Recoveries Panel.
In addition to her primary engagements, Ms. Liagre is a past president of the Michigan Association of Repossession Agencies, a nonprofit organization. She also hosts her own podcast, and has made numerous appearances via other media outlets, including on YouTube, NBC and NHK Japan. She initially embarked upon her career in finance, working at MDB Bank in 1998. After pivoting between real estate, the medical field, and insurance and referrals for over a decade, she resolved to enter the repossessions industry.
In accounting for her success, Ms. Liagre credits the other strong women in the industry who have supported her efforts. Looking toward the future, she aspires to prepare her various companies to effectively manage their own affairs and enter semi-retirement.
