With 28 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Winn has excelled as partner and creative director at The Refinery AV since 2008. He began his career as a production coordinator at FX Networks from 1995 to 1996 before transitioning to the role of producer at Fox Broadcasting from 1996 to 1999. He established himself as a writer, producer, and editor at Studio City from 1999 to 2002. He contributed to Trailer Park as a senior producer and editor from 2002 to 2007. He found further success as vice president of creative film services at Disney from 2007 to 2008.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Winn pursued an education at Ithica College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in radio and television in 1995. Beyond his responsibilities within the field, he has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles, with contributions to DignityMoves, PATH San Diego, and Sharsheret.
In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Winn remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was selected for the role of president-elect of Los Angeles Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization. He was critically lauded for his work as co-director, producer, and editor of “My Date with Drew” in 2005. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career, including wins at the Clio Awards, the PROMAC Awards, and the Golden Trailer Awards. In the immediate future, his intention is to continue to grow the business, teach, and share what he has learned through publishing a book he is in the process of writing as well as hosting speaking engagements.
