Ms. Brown has been a prestigious interior designer since 1991, and is now the owner and principal designer for Brown Design Group, where she has thrived since 1997. In 2021, she became the president of Design Trust, Ltd., and continues in this position. Additionally, she has participated as a member of the American Society of Interior Designers since 1993, and has been featured in Luxe Magazine’s Gold List and Mountain Living Magazine’s List of Top Mountain Architects and Designers. She was also a finalist for the Andrew Martin Interior Design Competition.
Not intending to become an interior designer while enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles, Ms. Brown happened upon Tim Vreeland, son of the legendary Diana Vreeland, former editor-in-chief of Vogue, who became one of her mentors. Mr. Vreeland graciously took her under his wing and introduced her to numerous influential women in the industry, contributing to her growth and success. With this influence, she became a certified interior designer, designated by the California Council for Interior Design Certification in 1992. When she is not working, Ms. Brown dedicates her time and attention to skiing, hiking, the outdoors, and a remote lifestyle.
