Also utilizing her innovative design solutions and cutting-edge technology, her clients have included Delta Airlines, Expedia, and New York Life. Moreover, Ms. Flynn has refined her expertise as a consultant, branding strategist, trainer, speaker, and creative consultant at Indiblu Creative.

Prior to these positions, Ms. Flynn was active as the design director for Queens University of Charlotte from 1999 to 2002. She previously served as a business development representative with Little Diversified Architectural Consulting between 1998 and 1999. Ms. Flynn began her career as an identity designer and branding strategist with Addison Whitney from 1996 to 1998.

Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Flynn pursued an education at Winthrop University, from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design in 1996. She would subsequently obtain her certification in making and designing infographics from Michigan State University and a specialization in UI/UX design from CalArts. Ms. Flynn has likewise garner multiple certifications from the California Institute of the Arts, including in the visual elements of user interface design, the fundamentals of UX design, web design, strategy and information architecture, and UI/UX web design from wireframes to prototypes.

Beyond her primary responsibilities within the field, Ms. Flynn has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her immediate circles. From 2018 to 2019, she contributed to Mental Health America of Central Carolinas as a compeer volunteer. She has further found success as a foster for CAROLINA PAWS from 2019 to 2021 and has provided her marketing skills to PAWS in the Panhandle. Ms. Flynn has also remained affiliated with the Data Visualization Society.

In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Flynn has accrued several accolades throughout her career. Featured in a “Design That Makes A Difference” article highlighting her nonprofit work in Southern Living Magazine, she was notably recognized among the 50 Most Influential Women in Charlotte by The Mecklenburg Times. As a testament to her stellar work, Indiblu Creative was presented with the Martech Innovation Award for Best Sustainability Creative Agency in North America in 2024. Furthermore, Ms. Flynn has had her designs and logos published in American Corporate Identity on multiple occasions and accepted 10 awards for her report for Delta Airlines.

Ms. Flynn has attributed her wealth of success to her perseverance, flexibility, and her adept talent for spotting opportunities. She is also driven by her unwavering desire to learn and remain up-to-date with the latest technologies. Among her many accomplishments, she is incredibly proud of creating the Monarch brand, a division of Arc Services that worked with people with disabilities and behavioral health issues, as she met a great business partner whom she considers a friend to this day. Looking toward the future, Ms. Flynn hopes to continue mentoring younger generations of designers and consultants in her field, helping those with health issues and other challenges, while traveling more to inform her creative process and participate in speaking engagements.
