Currently, he serves as the owner of CNG Services of Arizona, a position he has held since 2000. In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, he has been the chairman of the Arizona Natural Gas Coalition since 2010, advocating for the adoption and expansion of natural gas as an alternative fuel source. His commitment to environmental sustainability is further demonstrated through his long-term involvement with the Valley of the Sun Clean Cities Coalition, where he has been an active member, consultant, and volunteer since 2001.
Mr. Clement’s extensive experience also includes his role as the technical support and distributor training manager for North America at FuelMaker, Cubogas Srl from 2014 to 2022. Additionally, he contributed significantly to the Pima Association of Governments’ Regional Clean Cities Coalition as a member and volunteer from 2002 to 2020. Additionally, from 2008 to 2019, he served as the Arizona state leader for the Pickens Plan, a campaign aimed at reducing America’s dependence on imported oil through the use of domestic energy sources. His leadership in fleet management is evidenced by his tenure as the fleet and facilities manager at Whitton Plumbing, Whitton Companies, from 1999 to 2008, and as the regional fleet manager for Rural Metro, Southwest Ambulance in 1999.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Clement was the owner of Clement Towing & Transport from 1980 to 1999, where he gained extensive experience in the transportation industry. He also held leadership positions as the president of the Arizona Professional Towing & Recovery Association in 1998 and the president of the Mesa Towing Association from 1995 to 1998. His managerial skills were honed at Clement Motors, where he served as manager from 1974 to 1985. His commitment to service extends beyond his professional career. He served as a volunteer missionary for the Australia Melbourne Mission from 1976 to 1978, reflecting his dedication to helping others and contributing to the community.
Mr. Clement attributes his success to the strong work ethic instilled in him by his father during their time running a garage. He believes that his ability to alleviate people’s day-to-day headaches and solve their problems has been a key factor in his success. Looking ahead, he plans to delegate his business responsibilities gradually and transition out of the day-to-day operations. His proudest accomplishment has been his family, with six children who have all contributed to his business. He collaborates with independent service providers across various locations, allowing him to expand his business reach to places like Las Vegas and Oklahoma. His extensive experience and dedication to his work have earned him recognition and respect in the industry, and he looks forward to continuing his contributions to the field while mentoring the next generation of professionals.
