Laying a solid foundation for his success, Mr. Tracey completed coursework in computer science in 1996 and earned an Associate of Science in network administration from SUNY Adirondack in 2009. Civically, he served as the chief technology officer for the Glens Falls Greenjackets Football Team Inc. from 2015 to 2020 and is a member of the Cybersecurity Committee and National Small Business Association Leadership Council. He is also a donor to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Reflecting on his career, his trajectory changed when he became a father, which led him to pursue further education. Following graduation, he worked in information technology at various health care organizations and hospitals, where he found that large organizations faced an inability to protect themselves from cybercrime despite their access to substantial financial resources, and small businesses were more susceptible to attacks due to their lack of resources.
