Greg Gallegos, owner of KGH Strategies LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in consulting services.
Mr. Gallegos has established a successful career in consulting and is recognized as a subject matter expert in campaign finance within the state of New Mexico, specializing in campaign finance, project management, and political consulting. He currently excels as the owner of KGH Sales and KGH Strategies LLC, roles he has held since 2021. KGH Strategies is a versatile consulting firm specializing in political compliance, campaign finance, program development, testing, evaluation, and enhancement of internal and external programs and software. In his capacity as owner, he provides expert compliance consultancy services to campaigns and nonprofit organizations operating within New Mexico. He functions as a treasurer or hired consultant for candidates and politically affiliated entities, ensuring meticulous adherence to state statutes. He also offers professional consulting services for ethics complaints, conducting thorough analyses and crafting articulate responses for submission to the state ethics commission, and strives to resolve complaints by pursuing complete dismissal or minimizing fines for the individuals involved.
Mr. Gallegos’ prior experience includes roles as a management analyst for the New Mexico Secretary of State in Santa Fe from 2019 to 2020, maintenance supervisor for the City of Albuquerque from 2014 to 2020, lead shop technician at Creative Bus Sales Inc. from 2013 to 2014, and lead motor pool technician at Sandia National Laboratories from 2011 to 2013. He also dedicates his time as a member of the Executive Committee for the New Mexico Bowl and is a former PTA president and vice president. Laying a solid educational foundation, he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Southern New Hampshire University, earned in 2018, and a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, graduating cum laude in 2019. Reflecting on his career, he drew upon his experiences and expertise to identify a need for political compliance consulting in New Mexico. Additionally, he was recruited to return to the state government of New Mexico to serve as a project manager for an ongoing IT development project that began in 2019. He has been actively engaged in this role since 2021, and this experience has prompted his business to expand into project management services.
Mr. Gallegos attributes his success to his analytical mindset, honed during his time as a mechanic. In the coming years, he aspires to establish KGH Sales as a self-sustaining entity, allowing him to gradually step back from day-to-day operations. As part of his vision as a business owner, he aims to acquire the facilities housing his operations, recognizing the potential for higher returns on investment compared to leasing. For KGH Strategies, he wants to continue building his team so he can spend more time networking. In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, he is running for office in the New Mexico House of Representatives, seeking to represent District 27. Motivated by a desire to advocate for the interests of working families and children, he is concerned about the influence of affluent or retired individuals in the legislature.
