After about five years of success, Mr. Elrod launched Mrs. Clean Coeur d’Alene Cleaning Services LLC in 2017, a full-service residential and commercial cleaning service in north Idaho. Shortly thereafter, he co-founded Haak Vineyards and Winery just 30 minutes outside Houston in Santa Fe, Texas. Mr. Elrod’s award-winning winery offers tours where customers can explore the wine production facility and see how the wines are crafted. The winery also serves as a destination for special events, such as weddings and other special gatherings. Haak Vineyards has a second location in downtown Brenham, Texas, exclusive for connoisseurs interested in wine-tasting and charcuteries.
More recently, in 2022, Mr. Elrod became the founder and president of TheLinkU, a marketing services organization based in Houston. TheLinkU works with universities to maintain ethical, compliant, sustainable name, image, and likeness (NIL) programs. As such, he empowers student-athletes to reach their full potential in NIL opportunities.
In addition to his full-time career endeavors, Mr. Elrod has become active in various real estate investments and holdings. He enjoys the industry’s variety and potential and looks forward to future investing. Additionally, Mr. Eldrod operates a ranch.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Elrod owned Elrod Interiors in 2015. He also worked in sales and promotions for Buffalo Specialties, an advertising services company based in Houston, from 2012 to 2014, which was instrumental in his subsequent success. These roles taught him how to collaborate with executives and clients and were foundational to his career accomplishments.
Mr. Elrod possesses a rich educational background that includes a Bachelor of Science in sports administration from the University of Houston in 2011 and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on professional development from Dallas Baptist University in 2013. While pursuing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Elrod garnered experience as an athletics department intern on the University of Houston campus from 2011 to 2012 and played collegiate football.
