Mr. Graulich is a leader in the construction industry, best known for his hard work and dedication as the founder and owner of Graulich Builders in Lewes, Delaware, since 2007. Specializing in custom home building, commercial and construction management, and home remodeling projects throughout Delaware’s beach region, he and his team focus heavily on quality craftsmanship, setting them apart from other builders.
A family-owned and operated business, Mr. Graulich employs his father, mother and brother. His father retired from his company to join his son’s venture, while his mother handles administrative tasks. Additionally, his brother serves as the construction director, excelling in taking a hands-on approach to overseeing all project results.
As part of his everyday tasks, Mr. Graulich manages the company’s daily operations, oversees his selection coordinator, and serves as an operations manager. He also provides estimates, engages in sales, is involved in all designing, building and renovating projects, and deals with permitting contracts with subcontractors. Mr. Graulich’s expertise in high-end custom residential homes and commercial construction has been pivotal to his success as a lauded business owner in this sector.
In addition to his responsibilities at Graulich Builders, Mr. Graulich recently established American Storage of Delaware, which began operations recently. He previously held various industry positions with other companies, working his way up from a carpenter to a site supervisor and project manager.
Mr. Graulich graduated from Prince George’s Community College with an associate degree. He is pursuing a pilot’s license and recently completed his first solo flight.
As a dedicated member of his community, Mr. Graulich has served as a diamond sponsor for local responders and has sponsored the Police-Fire Association. Most honorably, he served his country in the U.S. Navy as a military petty officer third class (E-4) from 2002 to 2006.
Among many notable projects, Mr. Graulich was fortunate to secure a very complex commercial project that involved the meticulous process of assembling a team to pitch to the most prominent health group in Delaware and Southern Pennsylvania. Recognizing his success, he has been featured in the prominent Architectural Digest magazine and a local publication, showcasing some of his work. Mr. Graulich also received a Regal Award from the Home Builders Association of Delaware and several Best of Contact and Best Remodeling Company Awards in Delaware and Maryland. Furthermore, he received an award for best green building house from the U.S. Green Building Council after serving as the general contractor for a custom home project, which was awarded the prestigious LEED certification. As the first to become certified in Delaware, Mr. Graulich received extensive recognition.
Mr. Graulich credits the influence he received from his father, a skilled woodworker and carpenter, to his initial passion for the industry. He attests much of his success to his integrity, honesty and hands-on skills. He also notes the significance of his dedicated team of employees. As he prepares for the future, Mr. Graulich intends to focus more on expanding his business model at Graulich Builders and remaining open to new investment opportunities to grow his storage business.
