Initially leading the company as its vice president of operations for five years, beginning in 2003, Mr. Rosales pivoted into senior vice president, chief operating officer and chief executive officer.
ACD Direct is recognized as a leading business processing outsourcing company specializing in working exclusively with nonprofit organizations. With a team of 120 employees and approximately 1,000 agents nationwide, the company manages calls for various well-known nonprofits, such as Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Make-A-Wish America, as well as smaller, local charities. ACD Direct also specializes in television donation solicitations.
Since its establishment, ACD Direct has thrived under Mr. Rosales’s leadership. Crediting the internal teams for much of its success, as well as the company’s partners and clients’ consumers, he remains committed to maximizing the impact of every contact connection while supporting every organization’s mission in providing them with their expertise so clients can focus on other aspects of operations.
Besides managing ACD Direct, Mr. Rosales owns three other businesses, one of which is Tripx.me. Offering both car rental and valet service, Tripx.me rents out a small fleet of vehicles in Salt Lake City and Raleigh, North Carolina, and specializes in valet service for electric vehicle drivers stranded due to a lack of a nearby charging station.
Before founding ACD Direct, Mr. Rosales honorably served his country for over 20 years in the U.S. military, achieving the rank of senior master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force before retiring. During his time stationed abroad in Afghanistan, he began to develop ACD Direct, which came to fruition shortly after completing his service. Mr. Rosales notably completed five deployments while serving in the armed forces, including to Afghanistan and Iraq and during Desert Storm.
In 2010, Mr. Rosales graduated from the Community College of the Air Force with an associate degree in hydraulics and fluid power technology and a second associate degree in transportation and mobility management. He also received certification in computer telephony integration.
Besides his work-related obligations, Mr. Rosales is active with various nonprofit initiatives. He donates and supports causes such as Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Wounded Warrior Project, the Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. His ability to give back stands as a testament to his community engagement, particularly as a veteran of the armed forces.
Mr. Rosales attributes the success of ACD Direct to his hard work and determination. Since its founding, the organization has collaborated with 270 nonprofit organizations throughout the U.S. and has collected approximately $1.4 billion in donations. As he prepares for future success, Mr. Rosales intends to reach a lofty goal of $59 million in revenue before selling the company to pursue his next venture. He also wants to continue managing and growing his other companies.
