Ms. Henderson’s role came after working for COLSA, which provided solutions in defense, intelligence, space, and civilian markets as a systems integrator from 2012 to 2019. Her expertise includes data and belief transmission through terrestrial and satellite communications links.
Having spent 30 years in the U.S. Army, Ms. Henderson honorably served her country from 1990 to 2020. Her tenure included active duty until 1999 when she reserved reserve duty assignments. However, she was sporadically activated for an additional five years during her reserve service. Besides her civic commitments in the military, Ms. Henderson has been affiliated with several local clubs, recognizing her dedication to local engagement. She is active in the Cavalier Trail Riding Club, the Kit Carson Riding Club and the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association.
Becoming highly accomplished, Ms. Henderson received a Bachelor of Science in general engineering with a minor in Eastern European studies from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. Moreover, she garnered a graduate certificate in cybersecurity management from Auburn University. Honoring her service, Ms. Henderson has been decorated several times with a Meritorious Service Medal, two Army Commendation Medals, a National Defense Service Medal, an Army Service Ribbon, and an Overseas Service Ribbon. In addition to these accolades, Ms. Henderson’s most significant accomplishments have been her ability to mentor and empower individuals across all levels of an organization, crediting her success to her perseverance, self-belief, and the support of her family.
