Mr. Kozuha’s priority is to elevate the quality of coffee to deliver an exceptional taste to coffee drinkers. His natural talent for identifying some of the best coffee and learning how to roast them in a way that brings out their natural flavors has been critical to his success.
Besides managing Greenwood Lake Roasters Craft Coffee, Mr. Kozuha has been a tenured application developer and telecom engineer for UPS since 2007. During his tenure with the American shipping and receiving supply chain management company, he also served as a senior systems programmer from 2015 to 2019.
Mr. Kozuha graduated from The Cittone Institute in 2020 with an Associate of Science. He also holds a credential as a certified Q grader through the Coffee Quality Institute, making him highly qualified in his field.
As part of his continued success in the industry, Mr. Kozuha is a member of the Specialty Coffee Association and Coffee Quality Institute. These memberships have been instrumental in his ability to remain at the forefront of his field. He also participates in three local farmer’s markets to market his brand. Active outside of work, Mr. Kozuha has volunteered with United Way and is recognized as an Eagle Scout by the Boy Scouts of America for his years of dedication and service to his community and beyond.
Highlighting his success as an entrepreneur, Mr. Kozuha’s company was named Best of Hudson Valley for Best Coffee Bean Selection in a 2018 edition of Hudson Valley Magazine. He also had the opportunity to participate in the U.S. Coffee Championships. Mr. Kozuha credits his success to his wife and those who believed in his passion. Having started Greenwood Lake Roasters Craft Coffee as a hobby, it quickly became a thriving business.
Mr. Kozuha is passionate about high-quality coffee and sharing his love with the world. In the coming years, he envisions expanding Greenwood Like Roasters Craft Coffee while continually focusing on the quality of his products. Mr. Kozuha’s vision includes increasing online sales and establishing additional physical locations for the public. Furthermore, he intends to frequent coffee farms and plantations to become more educated. Hence, his patrons will have a better understanding of the source of their coffee’s journey from the earth to the cup.
