Besides his entrepreneurial success, Mr. Busby worked for Aflac as an insurance agent, was a customer service and logistics manager at Go Logistics Inc., and was a logistics manager at Refrigerated Express. His management experience has been pivotal to his success. Moreover, Mr. Busby spent several years in the U.S. Army, where he honorably served in Iraq before being medically discharged in 2008 after sustaining a spinal fracture in two locations. Following his service, he transitioned into the Florida National Guard, showcasing his dedication and unwavering commitment to his country.
In preparation for his insurance career, Mr. Busby became licensed in the state of Florida in accident, health, life, variable life and variable annuities. Additionally, he is a certified NRA firearms instructor, holds a CDL Class A license, and completed the Military Police Academy. Mr. Busby is also active with various professional and civic groups, including Business Networking International, the Saint Cloud Connect Networking Group, the Saint Cloud Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Association of Veteran-Owned Businesses. Most notably, Governor DeSantis appointed him to the Osceola Soil & Water Conservation District in 2018 and secured re-election in 2020. Mr. Busby’s success has earned him recognition with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Libertarian Party of Florida in 2021 and a Best of Osceola County Award for Best Insurance Broker Company in Osceola County in 2023. As a military veteran, he was also decorated with a Combat Action Badge and numerous medals and was honored as the Veteran of the Year by A Hero for Kids, which hosts an annual gala to recognize the unsung heroes of the community.
