William “BJ” Joseph Lascor Sr., owner of Lascor Enterprises, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements and leadership in the construction and real estate investment sectors.
Mr. Lascor has established a diverse and evolving career, marked by entrepreneurial ventures and a commitment to personal growth through both success and failure. Since 2017, he has served as the owner of Lascor Enterprises in Sanger, Texas, a company he founded out of a passion for real estate and investment. Under his leadership, the business has expanded beyond real estate to include various types of assets and ventures.
In 2023, Mr. Lascor launched Young Gentlemen of Valor, a separate enterprise in which Lascor Enterprises is also an investor. This program is designed as a four-year curriculum for high school boys in grades nine through 12, focusing on practical life skills, such as etiquette, financial literacy and basic tool knowledge. Mr. Lascor currently conducts in-person classes and is developing an online version to broaden his reach. His daily routine includes developing the curriculum and providing individual soccer training. Additionally, Mr. Lascor will be coaching soccer at his children’s middle school from November through early February.
Since 2016, Mr. Lascor has also served as vice president at Silver Lining Health Solutions LLC, contributing to the company’s marketing and quality control efforts. Leveraging his entrepreneurial expertise, he previously found success as the co-owner of Training Society Denton (now known as Perfected Bodies Fitness) in Denton, Texas, starting in 2022. He also spent 2017 to 2020 as the owner and operator of Precision Privacy & Stain LLC, where he managed all aspects of the business.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Lascor worked as a warehouse agent at Expeditors International of Washington Inc. from 2012 to 2015, gaining valuable experience in logistics and supply chain management. He also excelled as a supervisor at Team Sheetmetal Inc., overseeing teams and projects within the construction sector between 2004 and 2010, shortly after graduating from high school.
Upon earning his diploma from Denton High School in 2003, Mr. Lascor further enhanced his technical expertise by obtaining a certification in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration from Aria Technical Institute Limited in 2004.
Civic engagement is central to Mr. Lascor’s life. He is an active member of the Lions Club, reflecting his commitment to community service. He has also volunteered as a recreational soccer coach for over five years and supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Mentorship has played a significant role in shaping Mr. Lascor’s values and ambitions. He draws inspiration from many mentors over the years. One of them is his grandfather, a self-made entrepreneur who founded Franklin Supply Co. and contributed significantly to pipeline supply in Oklahoma, and his grandmother, whose longevity and wisdom have left a lasting impression on him.
Mr. Lascor credits much of his professional development to learning from setbacks and business failures, which he views as essential experiences that have shaped his approach to leadership and strategy. He also notes his hard work, perseverance and willingness to learn from mistakes as contributing to his ongoing success. Most importantly, Mr. Lascor is grateful to his wife, who serves as his most significant source of pride and motivation. Looking ahead, he aims to expand Young Gentlemen of Valor beyond Texas into new regions and formats while continuing to develop both classroom-based instruction and online platforms for broader accessibility.
