Before founding Beau Monde Builders, Mr. Hoover launched his professional journey in upstate New York after high school by working various odd jobs before transitioning into roofing and construction renovation projects. In 2004, Mr. Hoover relocated to Florida and began working for a builder, initially performing entry-level tasks such as sweeping floors. Demonstrating dedication and a strong work ethic, he was promoted within a few years to superintendent, where he gained expertise in building custom homes. Despite the economic downturn in 2008, Mr. Hoover remained employed until the end of 2010, when he recognized the need to pursue his own path and ultimately established AJ’s Handyman Services. This venture eventually evolved into Beau Monde Builders, reflecting his commitment to growth and excellence in the field.
Mr. Hoover holds several industry certifications that underscore his expertise and commitment to quality standards. He became a licensed home inspector in Florida in 2011 and earned a certified building contractor license in Florida in 2015. These credentials have enhanced his ability to deliver comprehensive services to clients while maintaining rigorous safety and compliance standards.
Active within his profession, Mr. Hoover is a member of several industry-related organizations, including the Home Builders and Contractors Association and the Florida Home Builders Association. His involvement with these groups reflects his dedication to staying informed about industry trends and contributing to the advancement of the construction sector.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Hoover has demonstrated a strong commitment to civic engagement. He is a member of the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Titusville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce. He also served as the chair of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Space Coast for the Alzheimer’s Association in 2025. Moreover, Mr. Hoover has prioritized giving back to the communities he serves. He is most proud of his ongoing commitment to philanthropy, making significant contributions to charitable organizations, local schools, sports teams and academic programs.
