Since 2026, she has led One Take Learning as its founder and program designer, where she is responsible for designing and implementing STEAM learning systems in both public and private schools. Ms. Brown’s work integrates robotics, drones and submersible remotely operated vehicles into curricula, develops hands-on educational programs and creates weekly challenges to foster student engagement. She also oversees student progress and professional skills development while addressing educational gaps caused by the COVID-19 pandemic disruptions. Additionally, Ms. Brown manages marketing efforts and school enrollment to expand the reach of her programs.

Before founding One Take Learning, Ms. Brown worked as a private tutor from 2024 to 2026. In this capacity, she provided individualized instruction to students navigating COVID-19 pandemic-related academic challenges. From 2022 to 2024, Ms. Brown served as a STEAM teacher at South Beach Christian School, where she introduced innovative science and technology concepts to young learners.

Ms. Brown’s earlier career included contributions as an author with Equip Caregivers LLC in Boise, Idaho, from 2018 to 2023. During this period, she wrote extensively on caregiving practices based on her personal experiences. Ms. Brown’s entrepreneurial journey began in 2000 when she launched Equip Caregivers LLC in Boise, where she developed training programs for caregivers navigating complex medical situations until 2023. Concurrently, she was a motivational speaker with Grey Picket Fences from 2000 to 2023, sharing insights on resilience and caregiving with diverse audiences.

Academically, Ms. Brown earned an Associate of Arts from Spokane Community College in Spokane, Washington, in 2001. This foundation supported her subsequent work developing innovative educational programs and training resources. Beyond her primary roles in education and entrepreneurship, Ms. Brown has contributed significantly through civic engagement and creative projects. She has volunteered with St. Alphonsus Hospital and St. Luke’s Leukemia Foundation in Boise, organizing charity events focused on supporting children with leukemia at major hospitals, such as Saint Alphonsus and St. Luke’s.

Ms. Brown’s published works include “One Take Learning,” which outlines her educational philosophy. She also released “The Caregiving Success Guide: How to Be a Caregiver to Your Spouse, Parent, Child or Friend… Without Losing Your Mind, Your Hair or Your Bank Account,” released by Trilogy Christian Publishing in 2021.

Ms. Brown distinguishes herself through a comprehensive approach that emphasizes collaboration across companies and disciplines. Her commitment to providing quality education at an affordable price point sets her apart within the field. Ms. Brown prioritizes the well-being of children above profit so long as her business remains sustainable for future team members. Having mentored high school students for over 20 years, including during the challenging post-pandemic era, she has witnessed firsthand the profound impact of educational disruptions on student readiness for higher education and employment. A philosophy rooted in the belief that foundational knowledge must be mastered sequentially for students to thrive in advanced subjects, such as pre-calculus or engineering, Ms. brown is dedicated to closing educational gaps by ensuring students receive honest assessments of their skills and targeted support where needed.

A defining milestone in Ms. Brown’s professional journey was securing copyrights for her unique STEAM Labs system design, an achievement that underscores the distinctiveness of her approach to hands-on science education. She also holds a U.S. patent related to the STEAM Labs system design. These accomplishments are particularly meaningful given that Ms. Brown built her enterprise while working as a nanny and teacher, often dedicating long hours to realizing her vision. Each STEAM Lab was created in memory of children she had taught or cared for, making these legal recognitions a testament to her dedication.

The inspiration for Ms. Brown’s career stems from personal experience raising and homeschooling her four children while caring for family members affected by illness and injury. After working for a government entity during the COVID-19 pandemic, she recognized the need for structured learning environments that could adapt to unforeseen challenges. This realization motivated Ms. Brown to establish STEAM Labs that reflect both her favorite teaching memories and successful learning strategies developed over years of hands-on caregiving.

Throughout her journey, Ms. Brown has learned the importance of collaboration in education, a lesson reinforced by influential works such as “The Proximity Principle.” She believes educators must deeply understand what they teach and value partnerships with innovators across fields like drone technology and virtual reality. Ms. Brown’s goal is to eliminate guesswork for overwhelmed administrators by providing comprehensive curricula that equip students with essential skills needed for global success by 2030.

Ms. Brown attributes her achievements to persistence and consistency, qualities she considers vital for entrepreneurial success, as well as overcoming personal challenges such as dyslexia. Not learning to read until fifth grade gave her unique insight into learning difficulties faced by struggling students. A pivotal fifth-grade science experiment ignited her passion for laboratory science and biomedical engineering, shaping the educational philosophy central to One Take Learning. Ms. Brown’s more than two decades as a caregiver further inspired her mission to promote peace and healing through education.

Looking ahead, Ms. Brown plans to expand One Take Learning globally by launching robotics, drone and submersible competitions derived from her STEAM Labs curriculum. She aims to enroll schools worldwide while enhancing training resources and digital applications for broader implementation. Ms. Brown’s overarching mission is dedicated to fostering peace, unity and healing through transformative educational experiences.
