Mr. Cote has been the owner of Cote Electric, LLC since 1987. To begin his career, he was offered a position as a traffic signal technician with the city of Manchester, New Hampshire after he left the U.S. Air Force. He subsequently became the traffic signal foreman and found a passion for electrical work. He started his own company and plans to retire within the next few years after providing almost 40 years of electrical services to his community and other communities in the United States.
A volunteer electrician as well as a professional electrician, Mr. Cote rewires homes that have been damaged by hurricanes. He traveled to Mississippi and Louisiana after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. He has also been a volunteer electrician for the non-profit organization Mountain of Dreams in Costa Rica. Additionally, he volunteers as a missionary with Eight Days of Hope in Mississippi.
Mr. Cote also started a construction company with his son, who ultimately took over leadership of the company that is now thriving on its own. He attributes hard work and a strong upbringing to his career success. He learned his craft on his own through trial and error, adding to his own skills through hands-on application.
