Manan Shah, Co-Founder at Pashm Global, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in hotel and resort management.
Mr. Shah obtained a bachelor’s degree in engineering in 2002 from the Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. From 2003 to 2007, he excelled as a Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP) and network technician with Langley Air Force in Hampton, Virginia. In 2007, he started his retail portfolio, owning multiple locations while also co-founding Plaza Group USA. Since 2021, he has also prospered as the chief executive officer for the premier hotel and resort management, retail and restaurant management and property development firm Pashm Global, which he co-founded in 2021. To augment his industry knowledge, Mr. Shah obtained a Master Certificate in Hospitality Management from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York in 2018.
With Pashm Global, Mr. Shah’s responsibilities include overseeing staffing; all operations including the three divisions of the business: retail, hospitality and healthcare; and guiding the company’s global portfolio. He was recognized by Inside Business Top 75 in 2021 for his expertise in hospitality operations.
Mr. Shah claims that dedication, integrity and professionalism opened the doors to his success. Serving people and the community is something he has always been comfortable with, and he loved working in the field as soon as he ventured into it and began to grow professionally since then. He came from very humble beginnings, having grown up in a family that struggled financially, but he was able to turn his life around through hard work, dedication and professionalism with integrity in the hospitality field. In the near future, Mr. Shah intends to expand his retail portfolio from 20 to 30 locations in three years.
