Bradley Feddersen, Owner at Feddersen USA Wagyu, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in cattle raising and beef production.
Having assisted his father Larry in cattle raising since 1997, Bradley Feddersen co-founded Feddersen USA Wagyu in 2017, in which they raise cattle and distribute meat produced from Wagyu, a premier breed that originated in Japan and is renowned for flavor and tenderness as well as healthiness due to its saturated fat content and stearic acid, which is regarded as having a minimal impact in raising cholesterol levels. Its ratio of HDL (good) to LDL (bad) cholesterol is far higher than in other beef.
Mr. Feddersen’s primary responsibilities include watering and feeding cattle, ordering feed, and maintaining cattleyards and purchasing cattle for breeding. Feddersen USA Wagyu uses high quality locally sourced ingredients for its nutrition program for the long-term health of their animals and sells Wagyu meat to high-end restaurants in New York, Chicago, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, as well as supermarkets such as Fairway.
Mr. Feddersen attributes his success to his parents, who instilled in him a strong work ethic. He is hoping for the continued growth and success of Feddersen USA Wagyu, which in 2020 captured victories in the national Triple Crown Steak Challenge, including the Reserve Grand Champion title. The competition measures precise, objective scientific valuations of meat quality. The firm is also keenly cognizant in community betterment and in 2021 donated over 300 pounds of Wagyu ground beef to the Woodbury County, Iowa Sheriff’s Foundation. In the coming years, Mr. Feddersen’s goal is “to produce the best-tasting, 100% Wagyu beef.”
