Robert L. Morrison, Retired Principal and Owner of Creative Technology and Management Services LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in information technology, system studies and cybersecurity.
Now retired, Mr. Morrison boasts decades of professional excellence in his field. He was the principal and owner of Creative Technology and Management Services LLC from 2011 until his retirement in 2022. From 2004 to 2008, he was the information technology director of the Pima County Attorney’s Office. From 1971 to 2004, Mr. Morrison served the City of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in numerous capacities, including as chief information officer, deputy city manager, business administrator, deputy public safety director and deputy emergency management director.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Morrison attended Elizabethtown College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management in 1962. In 1971, he earned a Master of Public Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Alongside his formal degrees, he is certified in cybersecurity, managing risk in the information age, electronic records management, and leadership and strategic management for chief information, among other credentials.
To keep abreast of his field, Mr. Morrison is a member of the America Records Management Association and the American Society of Public Administrators. He has been recognized with a Mayor’s Award for Assisting in Getting National Police Accreditation in 1989. In addition, he received a Lifetime Membership Award from the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 12 in 1975.
Mr. Morrison attributes his success to his determination. He began his career with the U.S. Navy Ship Parts Control Center, where he was initially exposed to computerization on mainframes. In the coming years, Mr. Morrison hopes to expand into different sectors and improve systems as a consultant.
