Mr. Case is a licensed real estate sgent with more than 40 years of experience to his credit. Since 1980, he has excelled as the president of the Independence Real Estate Corporation. In this role, he investigates and purchases properties to renovate, rent and resell. Mr. Case is additionally a Certified Financial Planner through the College of Financial Planning.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Case was the founder and president of the Oakland Mortgage Corporation from 1991 to 1999. From 1974 to 1996, he worked in security sales and investment consulting, and from 1984 to 1994, he shared his expertise as a professor of financial planning at Oakland University. From 1980 to 1990, Mr. Case began his career as the chairman of Valley Property Management.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Case attended Central Michigan University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He went on to matriculate at the Michigan State University College of Law and obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence. Throughout his career, Mr. Case attributes his success to being aggressive in his pursuit of his goals.
Alongside his primary roles, Mr. Case has been an arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau since 2010. He has also maintained his affiliation with the Clarkton Areas Lions Club and the Michigan Travel and Tourism Association. In his spare time, he enjoys playing croquet with his wife.
