Maha Maria Mamish, author of “The Creative Entrepreneur: Use Your Sensitive Nature to Build a Highly Successful Business” and the owner of MAHA, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in coaching and luxury interior design.

Ms. Mamish applies her vision to help clients tap into the connection between their mind and body so that they can create and run their companies more efficiently and productively on all levels than they would by using traditional business practices. Her book is based on her cognitive theory that the highly creative and artistic brain is the same as what she calls the highly sensitive brain. In her studies, she realized that, for most of her design career, she worked with very artistic people and has developed the position that extremely creative individuals have highly sensitive brains that can be leveraged so they can become their best entrepreneurial selves. Ms. Mamish teaches clients one-on-one, conducts new research, tests new quantum and healing tools, and conducts workshops that involve exercises on being present and cultivating a sense of community.

Continuing to live out her own creativity after more than 20 years in the design industry, Ms. Mamish runs MAHA, which she refers to as a company built by a design entrepreneur for design entrepreneurs. It was born out of a desire to create a comprehensive approach to supporting creative businesses and is the first business-growth platform focused on sustainable brands in the world of luxury interiors. The company offers individual support for aspiring as well as established businesses and group learning opportunities by helping them to get through tedious to-do lists and developing structures, routines, and relationships that save time, maximize revenue results, and, most important, are enjoyable to creative personalities. A member of the Female Design Council and certified in interior design by the Parsons School of Design and The New School in New York City, Ms. Mamish holds a Master of Arts in the connoisseurship of European decorative arts and design from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London, England, and a Bachelor of Arts in art history, sociology, and women’s studies from Boston College. She started her career in sales and business development, excelling as the top-performing salesperson for every employer, and has since operated in the same niche market:  luxury products for interiors for brands that sell products to designers and architects for home design and installation.

Ms. Mamish attributes her early success to what she recalls as having an inordinate amount of energy, drive, perseverance, and high regard for excellence in accomplishing all her goals. Today, she believes her achievements are facilitated by her courage to be herself. She operates from a more intuitive, joyful mindset and perceives problems as opportunities. Within the next decade, Ms. Mamish wants to organically, as opposed to strategically, take her company beyond an insular coaching practice to fulfill her mission to make people’s lives more sustainable by building new and innovative businesses, becoming a thought leader and speaker, and impacting the world in a powerful, lasting way.
