For more than 20 years, Mr. Abendshien has excelled as the owner of Integrated Clinical Solutions Inc. In this position, he works with the health care industry to develop strategy, attends meetings with key executives and clinical leaders, conducts research and takes part in think tanks. Mr. Abendshien previously excelled as the owner of Abendshien Associates and as a partner with Ernst & Young.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Abendshien graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in business and finance in 1968. In 1971, he earned a Master of Science in health services management and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on finance. Alongside his primary endeavors, he served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Abendshien has found additional success through his written works, authoring the book “Healthcare in an S Curve” in 2018. To keep abreast of his field, he maintains membership in the CEO Advisory Network. Mr. Abendshien enjoys hiking, enjoying sports, traveling and writing in his spare time.
Mr. Abendshien attributes his success to hard work. He prides himself on remaining open to input, analysis and opinions from his colleagues. In the future, Mr. Abendshien plans to publish another book and continue working on articles.
