With more than a decade of experience to his credit, Mr. Tate has quickly proven himself as a capable business owner and manager. Since 2014, he has excelled as a co-owner of Luigi’s Ristorante and Luigi’s Pizzeria in Clymer, Pennsylvania. The family-owned and operated Italian restaurants were originally founded by his father and uncle in 1984 in Indiana County, and now feature two sister locations in DuBois. Adjacent to his primary restaurant ownership responsibilities, Mr. Tate has also excelled as a managing partner at Teti Holdings Inc. since 2022. Well-regarded for his creative output as well, he is the author of the 2022 book, “The Luigi Way: Benedictine Values Proven Effective in Leadership.”
As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Tate pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Science in business administration, management and operational excellence at Saint Vincent College in 2018. During his time at the institution, he dedicated himself to civic-minded causes with the Operational Excellence Club, Fitness Club and campus ministry. Additionally, he has regularly volunteered with United Way. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Tate has largely attributed his success to his father, who instilled in him the importance of a dedicated work ethic and strong communication skills. In the coming years, he hopes to further extend his ownership responsibilities by beginning his own management consulting company.
