Adam “Adamo” Gumowski, Director and Co-founder at STUTTIO, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in architecture and design.
Throughout his 20-year career, Mr. Gumowski has established himself as a dedicated architect specializing in urban design. He was a co-founder of STUTTIO in 2004 alongside his wife, a position in which he continues to excel. Between 2018 and 2023, he contributed to Google on the global design and development team. Mr. Gumowski loves working in the hospitality field, and he garnered expertise while working in several roles for Gensler, including design director, southwest regional hospitality leader, and senior associate between 2005 and 2018. He was active in design work while contributing as a designer, builder, fabricator, and artisan at Rockhill and Associates between 2003 and 2005. He began his career as an assistant professor at the Italy Design Studio in Tuscany as part of the University of Kansas’ study abroad program between 2002 and 2004.
Inspired by his parents to follow his passions, Mr. Gumowski attended the University of Kansas School of Engineering, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in architectural engineering and construction management in 2001. In 2002, he continued learning and earned an architecture, engineering, and construction certificate from Stanford University’s Integrated Design Studio. Yearning to make a difference, Mr. Gumowski earned a Master of Architecture in design, construction and fabrication from the University of Kansas in 2004.
