Before embarking on his professional path, he pursued an education at King’s College where he earned a bachelor of environmental studies. He completed a certification as a Chesapeake Bay landscape professional level 1 in 2018.

Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Ulanoski has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He donated to the local municipality for programs such as tree planting and educational projects with local school districts. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the Riparian Forest Buffer Committee and a trainer for the Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council.

Mr. Ulanoski became involved in the landscaping field in high school. After college, he went on to work as an environmental scientist, conducting wetland delineations and developing an interest in native plants and conservation. He wrote and implemented hundreds of conservation and reforestation plans for forested riparian buffers, wetlands restoration and mitigation, mine reclamation, and wildlife habitat projects. These plans were put to action in over 30,000 acres throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, New York, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina.

In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Ulanoski has accrued several accolades throughout his career, including when he was presented with the Community Conservation Commendation Award. He attributes his success to being able to network and to the quality of his work. In the immediate future, he intends to develop and expand different avenues of the business into new services they can provide. Additionally, he is considering potentially starting a growing operation of native plants.
