William Matthew Rossi, Esq., writer, novelist and inventor, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in employment law.

With nearly 50 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Rossi has excelled as chief deputy city attorney of Miami, Florida from 2005 to 2008. He began his career on the board of directors at Columbia Business School from 1977 to 1978. He established himself as a lecturer at Sawyer College from 1982 to 1983 before being appointed as a municipal court magistrate from 1984 to 1992. He found further success as an associate at Milliken & Fitton from 1981 to 1983 and was appointed deputy law director and chief city negotiator of Middletown, Ohio from 1984 to 1989. Subsequently, he operated his own private practice from 1989 to 1992 before being recruited to an associate position at Jackson, Lewis, Schnitzler and Krupman from 1992 to 1993. He continued his career as deputy county attorney of Sarasota County, Florida from 1993 to 2005.

Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Rossi pursued an education at Miami University, from which he graduated, cum laude, with a bachelor’s degree. He concluded his studies at the University of Dayton School of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, in 1981. He has been admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th and 11th Circuits, the Florida State Bar, the Ohio State Bar Association, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the United States Supreme Court.

In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Rossi has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with the International Youth Achievement Award by the International Biographical Center and American Biographical Institute, the American Jurisprudence Award by the Lawyers Cooperative Publishing Company, and the Top Lawyer Award by Martindale-Hubbell. In 2023, he acquired a patent for his nasal filtration apparatus.
