He was a member of the Boston University Financial Modeling Club, Pi Kappa Alpha International, and has sat on the board of directors of the National Association of Minority Contractors’ Northern California Chapter since 2021. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Marquis Who’s Who in America.
Mr. Perkins has always been passionate about architecture and finance. He pursued his interest by enrolling in business school. While in college, he interned at a general contracting firm, where he gained exposure to the construction industry. After graduation, he was promoted to project manager at the age of 26 before eventually deciding to launch his own company. He started with a team of five employees and currently has a staff of 145. They achieved a remarkable growth from one million in revenue 18 million in just two years.
Mr. Perkins credits his accomplishments to his strong work ethic and upbringing. He values honesty and transparency in his interactions with clients, always following through on his commitments and openly communicating when he cannot fulfill a request. This approach has earned him great appreciation from those he works with and his clients.
In the immediate future, Mr. Perkins aims to establish his presence throughout the Pacific region and launch a new store in Southern California. In the next five to ten years, he intends to become one of the largest rebar companies in California and hopefully in Washington as well. He wants to assist minority contractors grow by providing them with support either through a non-profit, by creating one, or being an advisor.
