Prior to embarking on her professional path, she pursued an education at Santa Fe Community College where she earned an associate degree in interior design. She concluded her academic efforts at the University of New Mexico, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in university studies and communications and journalism.
In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Saavedra-Gutierrez remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She held multiple roles at the American Society of Interior Designers, including as chapter president, vice president, and membership director. She served as chapter secretary of the NKBA. She holds a certificate in Kitchen and Bath Design.
In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Saavedra-Gutierrez has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She was recognized as a Women in Business Award Honoree by the Business Outlook in 2019 and received an honorable mention in the Kitchen Design Challenge by Thermador. Expertise.com named her one of the best interior designers in Albuquerque from 2019 to 2020, and Parade of Homes presented her with accolades for interior decorating in 2016, 2019, and 2022. Her work was featured in Parade of Homes and the Albuquerque Journal. In the immediate future, her intention is to grow her second company and create a unique line of products.
