With more than 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Holland has excelled as vice president and co-owner of Seegars Fence Company since 2020. He began his career as a coach of track and cross country and wrestling before transitioning to the role of adjunct professor at North Carolina Wesleyan College and as an ROTC instructor at North Carolina Wesleyan College for three years. He found success with Lidol Incorporated and later as director of facilities at Freedom Industries. He garnered a stellar reputation as senior quality engineer supervisor at Honeywell Aerospace Industry. He served as an engineer in the United States Army for over 10 years.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Holland pursued an education at Appalachian State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in construction and industrial technologies. He continued his academic efforts at Liberty University, graduating with a master’s degree in executive leadership in 2022.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Holland has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He is the founder of the Disabled American Veteran Fence Initiative and Operation Angel Wing and held the role of director of local mission projects for Nashville Methodist Church. He likewise coaches wrestling as well as track and field teams. In the United States Army, he was an active duty soldier from 2005 to 2016 and has established himself as lieutenant colonel of the Civil Affairs Branch in the United States Army Reserve since 2016.
In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Holland remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the Rocky Mountain Chamber of Commerce, the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, the Tarboro Chamber of Commerce, the American Fence Association, and the Carolina Fence Association. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career, including recognition as Small Business of the Month by the Rocky Mountain Chamber of Commerce. He was presented with multiple bronze stars, army commendation medals, army achievement medals, and meritorious service medals.
