With nearly 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Wachob has excelled as owner of Air Butler Heating and Cooling since 2016. A successful and reputable company that has grown exponentially since its inception, he and his team of certified, friendly technicians utilize an array of products and services from heating, ventilation, and air conditioning repair and installation to duct cleaning and air purification to provide the residential and commercial sectors with optimal indoor air quality year-round.
Mr. Wachob began his career as a property manager at the Southern Pines Resort for 10 years. He worked as a service technician for American Appliance for 6 months before transitioning to the role of lead installer at Air Design Heating & Cooling for 3 years. Before embarking on his professional path, he pursued an education at Vatterott College where he completed a heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration air certification in 2011.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Wachob has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He contributed to the Boy Scouts of America as a scoutmaster for 10 years. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the National Comfort Institute.
Mr. Wachob attributes his success to his excellent customer service and communication and cites starting his business, managing it effectively, and making it succeed as his most notable achievement. He is also proud of his efforts in the aftermath of the earthquake that hit Japan in 2011. At the time, he was taking prerequisite courses in nuclear science in order to work in nuclear power plants but discovered that HVAC technicians were in short supply. In retrospect, he has determined that being a technician was a fitting opportunity for him and he is happy that he took that path instead.
In the next five years, Mr. Wachob plans to open a new location and continue expanding. He would like to see at least 50% growth in his current location and to assess how he might duplicate and up-scale his current successes. He also looks forward to devoting more time to his hobbies which include woodworking, spending time with his family, camping, and traveling.
