With 30 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Darden has excelled as an independent associate and director at LegalShield since 2003. He began his career with Prudential Financial, Inc. He established himself in appliance sales at Best Buy from 2003 to 2017. Before embarking on his professional path, he pursued an education at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey where he completed coursework in accounting and finance. Additionally, he served in the United States Army for 20 years.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Darden has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He held the role of finance officer at The American Legion, junior vice commander-in-chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Colonia, New Jersey, president of the Board of Education in his community, and as a grand knight of the Knights of Columbus, St. Cecilia Parish. He sat in executive and leadership roles at his local Salvation Army, the Rotary Club of Woodbridge-Perth Amboy, and the City Council.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Darden has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with a Humanitarian Award in Woodbridge Township in 2022. He received several military awards for his distinguished military career.
Mr. Darden attributes his success primarily to his father, a disciplinarian who instilled self-reliance, respect, and leadership. His paternal grandmother also played a significant role, teaching him discipline and life skills from the age of 6. Later, she provided guidance on being a good husband and father. Additionally, his Catholic faith provided him with strength and fearlessness, particularly during his military service, which also contributed to his success. Another key influence was his participation in the Landmark Worldwide course, which helped him gain perspective and realize that anything is possible.
Mr. Darden’s crowning achievement was attaining the rank of bronze executive director, which means that he was able to help at least three individuals become directors and help an individual become an executive director like himself. In the immediate future, he intends to exert himself even more diligently and significantly grow his clientele and revenue. Additionally, he wants to create a financial partnership with his wife so that she will never have to worry about anything for the rest of her life.
