He established himself as a facilities and field operations manager at Intracoastal Liquid Mud, Inc. from 2012 to 2015. At Gulf South Employment Services, he contributed as a safety consultant from 2015 to 2016. He garnered a stellar reputation as superintendent at LA Contracting Enterprise, LLC from 2017 to 2019.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Duhon pursued an education at Nicholls State University, where he completed coursework in marine biology and biological oceanography between 1992 and 1993. He concluded his studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, studying business administration and management from 1993 to 1994. He holds 17 certifications, including from the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Consulting & Safety Professionals, Inc., GSES, TEEX, 360 Training, Alliance Safety Council, and OSHA.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Duhon has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce. He attributes his success to his intense work ethic, which he inherited from his father. He grew up in Amelia, Louisiana, and his grandfather was a wealthy politician who provided a great environment for Mr. Duhon to grow up in. In the immediate future, his goal is to leave his children better equipped and in a better place than his parents left him.
