With 53 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Warner has excelled as president of ATOTL, LLC since 2013. He founded the family-owned fire sprinkler design company in 2003. His oldest and youngest sons, along with a good friend, work with him. The company has four full-time and two part-time employees specializing in commercial, government, data center, and other large-scale projects.
Mr. Warner found success as president of Warner Fire Protection Services, Inc. from 1992 to 2002. As design manager, he contributed to Fire Protection Industries Inc. from 1990 to 2002 and to Reliance Fire Protection, Inc. from 2002 to 2006. He was active as a manager design at SimplexGrinnell Baltimore Center of Excellence from 2006 to 2010. During this time, he was recruited as design manager at Fire Mak Inc. from 2010 to 2013.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Warner pursued an education at the University of Maryland where he completed coursework in fire protection engineering. He holds a certification as a level 4 engineering technician in 1982. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Marquis Who’s Who Top Business.
Mr. Warner attributes his success to paying attention to details, learning from his mistakes, and taking accountability and responsibility for himself and his company. When he was 14, he created his first sprinkler design with his father’s guidance. At 16, he became a volunteer firefighter and continues to volunteer to this day. In the immediate future, he intends to lessen his involvement with the company and ensure that the next generation can take over the business, at which time he will retire.
