She spent some time at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen), where she advanced to the rank of director of revenue cycle, healthcare, excelling in her role.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Tapio pursued an education at North Dakota State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in facility management, geriatrics, and interior design from North Dakota State University. She later pursued an interest in graduate studies at the Minnesota School of Business, where she completed a Master of Business Administration in healthcare administration and management. Ms. Tapio also holds various distinct industry certifications in the areas of medical billing, provider credentialing, revenue cycle management and healthcare management. In her role at MedCycle Solutions, she remains active with various state and national healthcare-related organizations.
Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Tapio has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She serves as the founder of Big Give MN, an organization which helps local families in food crisis, for over 15 years. She is also a Certified SCORE Mentor, is active with her regionally local Women’s Entrepreneur Fund, and the National Small Business Association.
In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Tapio has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She is a graduate of the St. Cloud Area Chamber Leadership Program, a previous keynote address speaker at Rasmussen College’s Commencement Ceremony, and an industry speaker at several state chapter and national association events. She is a past recipient of the American Medical Billing Association’s Member of the Year Award, as well as a Beta Sigma Phi Woman of the Year.
