With over 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Bintliff has excelled as a licensed auctioneer and certified appraiser at Kennebec Auction Company since 2014. Prior to this position, he was active as a real estate developer and restaurateur. Mr. Bintliff began his career as an entrepreneur in the restaurant industry, owning multiple establishments. Before embarking on his professional path, he pursued an education at ITT Technical Institute, where he obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 1997. He continued his academic efforts, achieving a Bachelor of Business Administration at Davenport University in 2014, and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in finance at Davenport University.

Mr. Bintliff credits his remarkable achievements to his tireless work ethic, dedicating himself to his work for 18 to 20 hours a day, seven days a week, since the age of 13. He found success early in entrepreneurship and continues to thrive, with his current focus on the auctioneering and real estate industries. Among his career highlights, Mr. Bintliff’s most significant accomplishments include the Sheepscot Harbour Village Resort, an 80-acre development featuring 54 homes. He successfully installed a water sewer line underneath the harbor, gaining a four times density bonus, and developed a complex comprising 108 rental units with luxurious amenities over five years.

In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Bintliff has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was recognized as the recipient of Best Brunch and Best Coffee Shop in Kennebunk County by the Kennebec Journal in 2023 and received the Patrick Henry Award from the U.S. National Guard. Furthermore, he was honored with the Humanitarian Award for commendable efforts during Hurricane Hugo relief operations in 1989. Beyond his responsibilities within the field, he has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He contributed to economic empowerment and served as a developer for Operation Recognition. 

In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Bintliff has maintained his involvement in the Freemasons and the Maine Restaurant Association. In the coming years, he is committed to continuing his entrepreneurial journey, engaging in various auctioning and real estate projects, mentoring his daughters, and penning his memoir. Mr. Bintliff advises aspiring professionals in his industry to accept failure as a learning opportunity, exhibit passion, commitment, and a strong work ethic, and strive for perfection while maintaining the proper mindset.
