In her role, she guides the construction manager, manages administrative tasks and paperwork, and ensures quality control. Concurrently, she has served as owner of ONYX Paint & Tile since 2012. She began her career as a member of the state republican executive committee S.D. 29 from 2000 to 2004. She garnered a stellar reputation as a board member of the One Star National Service Commission from 2004 to 2012.
Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Roberts has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She contributed to the ONYX Worldwide Foundation, Agape Pregnancy Centers, the Texas Alliance for Life, and the Trotter House. She found success with her work of poetry titled “My Child” in 2015. In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Roberts remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a board member of Rotary International.
In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Roberts has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She was presented with a plaque of recognition by the Vietnam Veterans of America in 2003 and recognized as a national delegate of the permanent and planning organizational committee of the New York Republican Convention. In the immediate future, she desires to travel the world with the intention of passing the reigns of her company to her son in the next 10 years.
