With 40 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Konesky has excelled as the owner and operator of Konesky Simmental Ranch since 1983 and as an environmental support technician with the Federal Aviation Administration since 1989. His family has owned the Konesky Simmental Ranch for over one hundred years, and his responsibilities there include registering all animals, managing herd enrollment, and farming for animal feeds. At the Federal Aviation Administration, he maintains backup power and lighting systems in various airports and handles building maintenance, including heating, air conditioning, boilers, cable systems, and more.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Konesky pursued an education at Northern Montana College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in technology and farm mechanics, minoring in animal science, in 1990. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the Allied Genetic Resources, SAE International, the American Simmental Association, the Montana Simmental Association, the Society of Automotive Technology at Northern Montana College, and the Post Secondary Ag Students.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Konesky has accrued several accolades throughout his career. Konesky Simmental Ranch was recognized for its elite list of cows by the American Simmental Association. In the immediate future, he intends to focus on breeding and selling bulls, working with the population of 50 mother cows and 15 bulls the ranch currently has. He looks forward to retiring from his career with the Federal Aviation Administration soon.
