Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Lubbe pursued an education at the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, South Africa, where she earned a degree in physical therapy in 1982. She immigrated to the United States in 1995. Beyond her responsibilities within the field, she has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She made contributions to the British Journal of Rheumatology in 1993. Additionally, she supported local golf courses in her community.
